Remember, when it comes to your eyes, precision matters!

Custom Lens Replacement (CLR)

CLR is an extremely versatile form of vision correction.  It not only treats nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.  It also treats presbyopia, which is the need for readers and bifocals.  Given that it can treat everything, it is typically recommended for people in their 40s and beyond who have lost their natural “zoom” over their internal lens.  The procedure takes around 10 minutes per eye, and we typically take care of both eyes on the same day.  The procedure consists of the removal of the natural lens that no longer functions and then a replacement with an artificial lens that is designed to last the rest of your life.  This also means that cataracts will never form in the future!

LASIK

LASIK is one of the most common forms of laser vision correction and also one of the most studied! Not all LASIK is the same though.  Modern LASIK uses lasers for all parts of the procedure and treats enough of your cornea to not only achieve vision as good as glasses or contacts, but many times better.  In fact, the majority of our patients who have LASIK achieve vision better than 20/20!  Modern LASIK is very versatile and can be an excellent option for people who have nearsightedness, farsightedness, and/or astigmatism.  The procedure works by first creating a natural bandage or flap.  The flap is then gently moved to the side, and then the second laser treats your prescription.  Once completed the flap is then gently replaced allowing you to see very soon after the procedure!

EVO ICL

The EVO ICL is the latest generation of implantable contacts that is made out of a proprietary material that is fully biocompatible with the eye.  It is designed for people suffering from nearsightedness and astigmatism.  It even works with people with very high prescriptions (up to -20) and thin or abnormal corneas!  This is exciting because many people who are not a candidate for LASIK can have the EVO ICL to get the vision they’ve always wanted.  Other benefits include removability, a high quality of vision, and a quick visual recovery!

Technology Matters

Better technology achieves better results.

Technology has always been extremely important in vision correction, and ClearSight has recognized that from the beginning. This is why we have so many vision correction options, so that we can make sure that everyone who walks through our doors will get the best vision possible. It also means most people are a candidate for something and that the majority of our patients achieve vision that is better than 20/20!
