Why ClearSight Patients Get a Text from Dr. Luke
Luke: The number one reason that people do not have eye surgery is fear. We do everything that we can here at ClearSight and I do everything that I can here at ClearSight, to make sure that patients feel comfortable. Immediately after surgery, I either text or call and let them know that they can contact my personal cell at any time. I’ve been on vacation, I’ve been out of the country and I’ve received texts from patients and I will call them back as soon as I can.
I love it. I can develop a relationship with people and it’s a lifetime of vision for them and I want them to feel that way. The patient who had texted me a couple weeks ago, this gentleman was a pilot, absolutely loved his vision. Approximately a week after the surgery he texted me from 15,000 feet, from the cockpit, showing me just how well he could see. Just a wonderful view and he gave me a thumbs-up selfie and said, “Thank you.”
