Before her procedure, Carlene couldn’t even see well enough to run freely. Now she’s living life in color with LASIK.
Carlene: I started wearing glasses when I was about in the fifth grade, and back then it was the cool thing. It wasn't until I got into sports when I was in junior high that I noticed how frustrating it was. Taking a shower, I would always have certain placement for shampoo and conditioner and body wash, everything just because I couldn't see.
Through the procedure, before the procedure, afterwards, you're just so comfortable you almost don't think about what's going to happen. It is pain-free. It's so quick. Whenever we finished it, it was still hard for me to believe that I was going to be able to see.
You don't realize what gift it is until you have it. Being able to run and not having to worry about going to the gym or running and getting sweaty and my glasses sliding down the whole time. Feeling free to run, and I mean really free to run. It almost seems like I'm living live in color now. Things are just so different.
Dr. Luke and everybody on the staff from the moment I came to just make sure I qualified, all the way up until having surgery and even afterwards, like the phone calls. I can't say enough good things about the staff at ClearSight. Having LASIK has changed my life. When you pray for something and it finally happens for you, it's just such a huge blessing.
The number one thing we hear from our patients is that they wish they’d had LASIK sooner.
So the question for you is… why wait any longer?
