FAQs
These are some of the questions we get the most from prospective patients. If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out!
Does it hurt?
We are glad to say that all of our procedures are virtually painless. We will provide you with everything you need to calm your nerves and keep you comfortable throughout your time with us.
How much will my procedure cost?
Your treatment is based on your unique visual needs, so pricing varies. At your exam we will give you a custom quote for your recommended treatment. We will also explain our low monthly payment options, which we offer for all of our procedures.
Will I still have to wear glasses?
Our goal is to get you out of glasses completely. That is why we offer our 20/20 or it’s FREE Commitment – if you aren’t seeing 20/20 or better after your procedure, we will refund your entire procedure cost.
Will LASIK get cheaper?
As technology continues to improve, so does ClearSight. We are dedicated to using the most advanced lasers to give you the best results. A common misconception is that LASIK will get cheaper, but as our technology improves our prices could increase.
What if my doctor has told me I’m not a candidate for LASIK?
We are able to help 95% of people who walk through our doors. We offer multiple procedures to make sure we can help almost everyone, including individuals who may have been told no in the past. The best way to find out if you are a candidate is to come in for your free exam.
When will I be able to see? When can I go back to work?
Most patients see an improvement immediately after their procedure, and even better results the next morning. It depends on your procedure and your type of employment, but we expect most patients to be driving the very next day, and back at work a day or two later.

Can LASIK get rid of readers and bifocals?
While LASIK is a fantastic procedure that corrects your distance vision, it can not help with readers and bifocals. Don’t worry though, we can still help! Next door, our sister practice 43Vision specializes in correction solutions for patients who want to get rid of readers and bifocals. Learn more at their website: 43VISION.COM
What are the risks? Are your procedures safe?
Nothing in life is risk free, and the same is true for all medical procedures. But studies have shown that vision correction procedures including LASIK, EVO ICL, SMILE & PRK are actually safer than wearing contacts over time. Most of our staff, including every one of our surgeons, has had vision correction with great results and no major complications.
What does the 20/20 Commitment really mean?
Our 20/20 Money Back Commitment means that if you have 20/20 vision with your glasses or contacts, we’ll help you achieve 20/20 vision without them after your procedure with us. If not, we’ll refund your fee in full. This Money Back Commitment exists to assure you that you’ll achieve the vision you want. This commitment is offered on all LASIK, SMILE, PRK, and EVO Visian ICL procedures performed at ClearSight. See this page for more details.
Here are some more facts about our procedures:
LASIK
Of the more than 10,000,000 Americans who have had LASIK since the 90’s, experienced surgeons have reported a less than 3% complication rate. Those complications were mostly related to quality of vision issues such as dry eyes and reduced night vision, and even these issues have significantly improved with advances in technology. Studies show that there is more risk from prolonged use of contacts than something going wrong during the LASIK procedure.
EVO Visian ICL
EVO Visian ICL is FDA approved and has been extensively researched around the world. It has an excellent track record, with over 1,000,000 procedures done and a satisfaction rate of over 99%. This technology has been available for over 15 years
SMILE
Over 4 million SMILE procedures have been performed worldwide. We love the safety of SMILE because it leaves most of the top corneal layers intact allowing for faster recovery and maximum comfort.
