Destiny’s EVO ICL Experience
I started wearing glasses in the first grade, so it has been my life, really. With my contacts I was the person who wore them all day every day, during the night, in the shower, in the water, never took them out. I would wear them months at a time. I couldn’t stand not see in the shower, not being able to read the shampoo, the conditioner. Going to the pool, not being able to recognize my friends.
I’ve been seeing an eye doctor my whole life and it’s always been, is it ever going to stop? Can it ever get better? I’ve been told you can’t do LASIK. You won’t. It’s too bad, it’s getting too bad. You’re not going to, it’s not going to happen.
I came up here and they did say that I was not a candidate for LASIK, however they had developed new things. That was really, really exciting. It really caught me off guard.
There wasn’t anything to it. I could feel pressure, but I couldn’t feel anything. Dr. Luke’s voice is really soothing and relaxing. He was talking the whole time and it just kind of chilled me out.
It sounds weird. It sounds invasive. It was not at all any of those. Experiencing it on the recovery end and the person receiving it, it was easy. It was easy.
