Advances in laser technology over the past decade have raised standards of safety, outcome and comfort, so that today an experienced surgeon like Dr. Luke Rebenitsch can provide freedom from the inconveniences and frustrations of glasses and contacts, and better vision for his patients than they ever thought possible.
The first step of a LASIK procedure is the creation of a flap, which is a thin segment of the outer layer of the cornea.
At ClearSight we use a precision laser to create a thinner and more precise flap that enables faster healing and a more comfortable patient experience.
Next, a different laser, called an excimer laser, is used to re-shape the underlying cornea to correct your vision. At ClearSight, this step is called Custom LASIK and is based on an individual 3D map taken of your eye for the most precise correction possible.
After this, the flap is closed, seals within minutes, and secures within hours. Typically patients can return to most of their usual activities the very next day, even driving for the first time without lenses!
You'll feel just the slightest sensation of pressure and see improvement instantly.
The entire treatment only takes about 15 minutes... that's 15 minutes to enjoying life without contacts!

Each generation of newer technology solves issues that earlier technology could not address. The lasers used today at ClearSight Center achieve significantly better results, along with greater patient comfort, than earlier systems.
The Ziemer Z6 Femtosecond laser and the Alcon WaveLight EX500 excimer produce the best results we have ever achieved, with the vast majority of patients achieving results that are better than 20/20 after LASIK.
Learn more about our technologyAdvancements in vision correction technology mean more people than ever before are candidates for LASIK.
At ClearSight LASIK, we can safely correct wide ranges of nearsightnedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. In fact, around 85% of patients are typically good candidates for LASIK, and we've even treated many patients who were told they weren't candidates in the past due to their high prescriptions both safely and successfully.
If you've ever thought or been told you were not a candidate in the past, you may now be helped by the technology, experience and treatment options we provide.
At ClearSight we don't take that approach at all. We still make LASIK affordable, but we do it without skimping on the quality of outcome by using the most advanced technology available for every patient.
At ClearSight, our mission is to deliver the best visual results possible for a reasonable fee. Why do we do this? Simply because we believe everyone should benefit from this life-changing procedure.
