What is a cataract?

A cataract is a clouding of the lens of your eye, like seeing through a fogged-up window. Cataracts usually develop slowly and don’t affect your vision until later on in development.

Why do I need reading glasses?

Many people have trouble reading once they pass age 40. If you notice yourself holding the newspaper, dinner menu or tablet farther away from your eyes in order to read them, then it might be time for reading glasses. The main cause of needing reading glasses is when you develop presbyopia – vision loss as we age.
