For those 65 and over, the primary vision correction treatment is cataract surgery, and unlike traditional cataract surgery, advanced cataract treatment has the potential to accomplish the same thing as our other refractive treatments – great vision at all distances with little to no dependence on glasses.

Once you reach the age of 65, traditional cataract surgery is covered under MedicareWe do not currently participate in the Medicare program, or offer traditional cataract surgery as a treatment option.  However, we do offer advanced refractive cataract surgery – Lens Replacement – as a vision correction option, but only on a self-pay basis.

If you are interested in traditional cataract surgery, there are a number of excellent cataract surgeons right here in Oklahoma City.  We suggest talking to your primary eye doctor for a diagnosis and recommendation.
