Spring has arrived! Here are some of our favorite things to do in Oklahoma City.

Let's begin with a day at the Oklahoma City Zoo, where we can meet one of the newest members of our community, Achara, an Asian elephant calf born late in 2014. Achara's name (pronounced a-ka-ra) was chosen by approximately 13,000 online votes, winning out over names Biju, Divya and Sage.

Visit Roman Nose State Park, one of the original seven Oklahoma state parks. Recreational activities include an 18-hole golf course, swimming pools, hiking trails, two lakes, trout fishing in season, canoeing, paddle boats, mountain biking, horse stables and hayrides by reservation.

Festival of the Arts will come to downtown Oklahoma City. Since 1967, the Festival is a community celebration of the visual arts, performing arts and culinary arts.

Go back in time with the Medieval Fair of Norman. Held annually since 1977, this living history fair features arts, crafts, food, games, dancing, reenactments, jugglers, knights jousting on horseback and human chess games.

The Annual Paseo Arts Festival takes place over Memorial Day weekend. More than 80 visual artists will fill the Historic Paseo Arts District, selling original artwork in a wide variety of media, from painting and photography to wood and jewelry. The Festival also hosts dozens of musicians and other live performers on two stages.

“A touch of the tropics in downtown OKC…” The Myriad Botanical Gardens is a 17-acre botanical garden and interactive urban park.

Take a ride on the SandRidge Sky Zip. The zipline starts at the top of the 80-foot SandRidge Sky Trail and drops 50 feet before reaching the tower on the south shore of the Oklahoma River. The return zip starts at 60 feet and ends at ground level.

Take in a ball game. The Oklahoma City Dodgers are the Triple-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

“I wish I’d done it sooner!”

The number one thing we hear from our patients is that they wish they’d had Vision Correction sooner.

So the question for you is… why wait any longer?
